Hero MotoCorp announced on Tuesday that it entered Guinness World Records for creating the largest motorcycle logo ever. Hero MotoCorp pulled off the feat by placing exactly 1,845 of its Splendor motorcycles to mark 10 years of traveling as a solo entity.
Splendor bikes have been precisely placed to form the Hero MotoCorp logo at the company’s manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The logo canvas was an area measuring 1,000 feet by 800 feet.
It is not child’s play to place these numerous vehicles to form a logo. According to Swapnil Dangarikar, official referee of Guinness World Records, it takes a colossal effort to achieve the goal. âThe attempt for the biggest motorcycle logo is always a challenge. It involves immense planning and execution effort,â he said. “I have looked at all the evidence online and am very happy to report that Hero MotoCorp has broken this record with 1,845 motorcycles in an amazing way.”
For Hero MotoCorp, it was a double celebration. âEarlier this year, Hero MotoCorp celebrated the milestone of 100 million cumulative sales since its inception, a record in the hearts of all heroes,â said Malo Le Masson, Global Product Strategy and Planning Manager , Hero MotoCorp. “This milestone comes in 2021 which is also the 10th anniversary year of the Hero Brand logo, unveiled on August 9, 2011 at the O2 Arena in London.”
Hero MotoCorp is the world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers.
