Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has been recognized by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS for creating the “Biggest Motorcycle Logo” with the country’s most popular and iconic Splendor + motorcycle.
The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS ‘Biggest Motorcycle Logo’ was unveiled after Hero MotoCorp’s 10 glorious years of solo travel on August 9, 2021.
To achieve this world record, 1,845 Hero Splendor + motorcycles were evenly placed to form the Hero logo at the company’s manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The area spanning 1,000 feet x 800 feet was used as a canvas to create the backrest.
Commenting on the occasion, Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning and Strategy, Hero MotoCorp said: “Earlier this year, Hero MotoCorp celebrated the milestone of 100 million cumulative sales since its inception – a Hero record.
This milestone comes in 2021 which is also the 10th anniversary year of the Hero Brand logo, unveiled on August 9, 2011 at the O2 Arena in London. So, as part of our unique celebrations for this special day, we set a Guinness World Record for “Greatest Motorcycle Logo” to demonstrate our brand’s stature. On Sensex, around 10:20 a.m. Hero MotoCorp was trading at Rs 2,770 each, down Rs 28.4 or 1.01%.
